C attended her first LIFE session. She was very pleased and excited about what they learned - vacuuming and cleaning. She even vacuumed the house the next day. She needs some more practice and to learn to look for dirt and dog hair! So far, we are very pleased.
April 19 activities
Come join us as we visit our friends at Asheir Manor. We will socialize with the residents, plant some flowers in pots and build & paint bird feeders. Please remember to bring your own lunch! Are you the perfect candidate?
Weekend Enrichment: Life classes are designed for adults with low support needs who have goals of living independently. Those who are wanting to move out and need to learn/practice general housekeeping, cooking, scheduling, and independent community living. This is designed as a drop-off program where the adults will be performing tasks as independently as possible. This unique enrichment program is designed for adult community members who must be able to conduct themselves safely in the community, a 1:5 setting, follow 2-3 step directions, exhibit minimal behaviors, and handle all personal needs. |
