What's involved?
Weekend Enrichment Mega Respite is a full-day of stimulation and exploring our community. Attendees will take part in our neighborhoods and surrounding areas by visiting restaurants, cleaning up and respecting nature, hiking, learning outdoor living skills, and the world around them. Our staff will help them manage self-regulation and calming strategies. Outings will last all day so bring your lunch and your brain power! The group will meet at 10:00am and return at 4:00pm. Each outing will be different and exciting with a great mix of fun and learning. All classes will be taught by trained and certified special education teachers, assisted by adults and volunteers with extensive experience in special education. |
