This social skill and literacy building class for all adults take place at Panera Bread in Wheaton. Ms. Al-Kawas facilitates and supports all adults to practice reading, build social skills, independence and community awareness. This program focuses on: -Socially acceptable behavior -Self-advocacy skills -Relationship building and immersion in their community -Engagement with residents -Decision making skills -Staying in designated area -Tolerance of novel and stimulating environments |
