What's involved?
A new kind of hike is coming up this Sunday Dec. 12! Participants will meet at the Veirs Mill Metro Station, and then utilize the public bus system to get to, and then hike around, the National Zoo! We will be having lunch at the zoo, so please bring a lunch, or money to purchase food. Please bring bus fare and warm clothes; it will be chilly.

HEALTH PRECAUTIONS!
All attendees must be vaccinated and will be required to donn masks when indoors or if social distancing cannot be accomplished. 

Are you the perfect candidate? 
Weekend Enrichment Take a Hike is designed for all adults.  Pathways will vary from rugged to fully chair/walker accessible and will be announced in advance of registration. 
Attendees should be able to conduct themselves safely in a 1:4 setting, follow 2-3 step directions (if needed w/caregiver prompt), exhibit minimal behaviors, be able to navigate outdoor terrain and handle all personal needs. ​
