We are thrilled with the popularity of our WORKS programs.
In order to provide participants with individualized hands-on support from the UCR team and instructors space is limited. Due to the high demand for the Works programs, participants may only attend one program at a time. |
Cost: $280 7 classes Mondays 10:30am-12:00pm SKIP May 26 Organizer: Jenn Lynn Phone: 240.614.0444 UCR WORKS: Catering Simply Fresh Events designed to teach young adults how to perform a variety of jobs in a catering, food service or warehouse environment. At the end of this intensive session, attendees will make a celebratory meal and dine together. They will be tested on skills for mastery and receive a certificate of completion. This inclusive program takes place at Simply Fresh Events in Gaithersburg and is lead by the experienced staff as well as experienced UCR special educators. |

Skills Learned
loading and unloading cartons & trucks organizing warehouse polishing silver sorting, stacking and packing preparing for events following directions task completion cleaning warehouse, trucks, delivery tools and vehicles sweeping and organizing food prep and packing All skill levels accepted, no personal hygiene care provided. Minimal behaviors will require caregivers/staff.
