Thursdays 10:00am -- 11:30am 12 classes $420 Organizer: Jenn Lynn Phone: 240.614.0444 UCR is very proud to offer on-site inclusive learning and community-based programs! These skill building classes for all adults take place at various locations in our community. The activities provide access and supports to achieve skills development, acquisition and independence to gain complete community integration. These programs promote positive growth opportunities, skills development and maintenance working towards; -Competitive integrated employment opportunities -Socially acceptable behavior -Self-advocacy skills -Relationship building and immersion in their community -Engagement with residents -Volunteering experiences -Team work -Focus and task completion -Spatial awareness -Decision making skills -Staying in designated area -Organization -Tolerance of novel and stimulating environments All skill levels accepted, no personal hygiene care provided. Minimal behaviors will require caregivers/staff.

Meghan Jones Scholarship fund
was established in 2025 to support those seeking UCR's independence building and life skills programming. As a founding member of UCR, Meghan lived and worked independently! We are happy to present this fund to assist students in need who want to follow in her footsteps to employment. Email Jenn Lynn if you are in need of a scholarship.
