Upcounty Community Resources, Inc. (UCR) is always looking for dedicated individuals to work as part time staff at UCR programs and events. Under the direction of a professional instructor, these staff members provide support at UCR’s various social programs, outings and events. In addition, staff work directly with UCR members to help support their participation in activities, as well as supervise UCR volunteers at programs.
UCR’s part-time employment opportunities include weekday, evenings, weekends and daytime programs. UCR takes into consideration each applicant’s educational background and previous experience. Applicants must be reliable, mature, available for any required trainings, and foster a supporting environment and sense of respect for all.
Applicants must review the UCR website to familiarize themselves with the organization. Interested individuals can send a resume and cover letter to Board Chairman, Dan Finn. Cover letters should not be more than one page, and must explain specifically your interest in working with UCR. Once your resume and cover letter is received, Dan Finn will contact you to set up an interview. UCR accepts applications from all individuals interested, not only students.
Applicants with an interest in individuals with developmental disabilities, including students studying Pyschology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Education, Social Work, Music Therapy, or Therapeutic Recreation would gain relevant and meaningful experience and knowledge through working with UCR.
If you have any questions please contact Dan Finn, Chairman of the Board of Upcounty Community Resources, Inc.
