In order to provide participants with individualized hands-on support from the UCR team and instructors space is limited. Due to the high demand for the Works programs, participants may only attend one WORKS program at a time. |

Thursdays 10:30 - 12:00pm Organizer: Jenn Lynn Phone: 240.614.0444 UCR WORKS: Mamma Lucia's is designed to teach young adults how to perform a variety of jobs in an active restaurant environment. At the end of this intensive session, attendees will graduate with a certificate of skills practiced and learned. They will be observed and tested on skills for mastery and receive a certificate of completion. This inclusive program takes place at Mamma Lucia's in Olney and is lead by the experienced staff as well as experienced UCR special educators. |

[email protected] Our WORKS staff is prepared to build work skills in all our WORKS classes, related to, but not limited to:
● Fold Pizza Boxes ● Stack Pizza Boxes ● Fold Napkins ● Polish Silverware ● Wrap Silverware in Napkins ● Sanitize Napkins ● Prepare Table Settings ● Other tasks as needed ● Review Work Habits - being on time - dressing presentable for work - putting away cell phone ● Interview Skills All skill levels accepted, no personal hygiene care provided. Minimal behaviors will require caregivers/staff.
