Staff & Teacher Communications
All communication regarding your class, registration, schedules, payment and calendar will come from the office of the Executive Director and Executive Assistant. While you may have your teacher's cell number, use it sparingly and for real emergencies; late arrivals, late pickups, illness or absentees. Do not text or call your teacher for payment questions, registration, enrollment favors or calendar questions. If you must give notice of illness or absences please try to do so asap. The teachers are not obligated to respond to you during their free/off time.
UCR Inclement Weather/Program Cancellation Policy
If Montgomery County Public Schools are closed, UCR programs are cancelled.
If Montgomery County Public Schools have a 2-hour weather delay, in-person morning (am) programs are cancelled.
If Montgomery County Public Schools have a 2-hour weather delay, evening (pm) programs will be held as scheduled.
Since we use public settings for all of our programs, we must also follow guidance from host sites with differing requirements. Please stay engaged and attentive to emails.
When a session is cancelled due to inclement weather or instructor/therapist illness, it is considered an "act of nature" and there will be no fee refunds. If it is possible to run the program virtually, we will consider that option. If you have questions about this, email the Executive Director.
