UCR is very proud to offer on-site interactive, inclusive learning and community- based programs!
These skill building classes for all adults take place at various locations in our community. The activities provide access and supports to achieve skills development, acquisition and independence to gain complete community integration. These programs: promote positive growth opportunities, skills development and maintenance working towards; -Competitive integrated employment opportunities -Socially acceptable behavior -Self-advocacy skills -Relationship building and immersion in their community -Engagement with residents -Volunteering experiences -Team work -Focus and task completion -Spatial awareness -Decision making skills -Staying in designated area -Organization -Tolerance of novel and stimulating environments |

Meghan Jones Scholarship fund
was established in 2025 to support those seeking UCR's independence building and life skills programming. As a founding member of UCR, Meghan lived and worked independently! We are happy to present this fund to assist students in need who want to follow in her footsteps to employment. Must email Jenn if you're in need of a 25% discount! IMPORTANT
Our On-Site learning programs do not promise employment, nor do the teachers facilitate hiring of our students. If skills are acquired and mastered, it is up to the student to express interest to the business owner in a professional manner. |
