Mondays 8 classes
Sept -- October 10:00-11:30am Cost: $320 This program is designed to expose our adults to auto repair, maintenance and how motors work. UCR is very proud to offer on-site interactive learning and community- based programs! These skill building classes for all adults take place at various locations in our community. The activities provide access and supports to achieve skills development, acquisition and independence to gain complete community integration.
These programs: promote positive growth opportunities, skills development and maintenance working towards; -Competitive integrated employment opportunities -Socially acceptable behavior -Self-advocacy skills -Relationship building and immersion in their community -Engagement with residents -Volunteering experiences -Team work -Focus and task completion -Spatial awareness -Decision making skills -Staying in designated area -Organization -Tolerance of novel and stimulating environments |

Minimal behaviors will require caregivers/staff.

To have more success and gain reimbursement from DDA, these programs will fall under Community Development Services. These programs are performed in a fully integrated and inclusive environment and reinforce critical life-skills like; creative & critical thinking, executive function, effective communication, stamina, endurance and continued physical movement. |
